The general cancer group is a free, ongoing, weekly group open to patients with cancer of all stages and types. Please call for more information and to register. Meets every wednesday
Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.
A journaling support group for family and friends of cancer patients. Discover the healing power of writing to express thoughts and feelings. No prior writing experience needed; spelling and grammar do not matter. This group is offered in partnership with Cancer Support Now.

All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. Moakley 3rd Floor Conference Room
Open to men who have experienced any type of cancer and their male family members and supporters. The group provides an opportunity to discuss cancer diagnoses, treatment, post-treatment, and lifestyle concerns. There is always an adjustment to this new terrain, and it’s good to talk about it. Participants learn from one another and help one another in the process. Generally 6 to 10 attend the meeting. Lunch and parking validation are provided.
