Neda Hashemi, MD is currently a 3rd year fellow in Hematology/Oncology at Indiana University where she serves as the chief fellow.

Dr. Hashemi is a graduate of Iran University Medical School, Tehran, Iran.  She started her training in the US at the Cleveland Clinic Neuro-Oncology Center as a Research Fellow. In 2012 she moved to a significantly different climate, Houston, TX, to start her internal medicine residency, which she completed in 2015, awarded best graduating resident among her class of 36. Shethen moved back to the Midwest to train in hematology/oncology at Indiana University. She is board certified in internal medicine.

During her years of training she has presented at national and international meetings, including ASCO, and gained valuable experience working with GU Oncology experts at MD Andersen and Indiana University. Her area of interest is GU oncology, with a focus on bladder cancer.
