A small group for women who have experienced any type of cancer. Female family members and supporters are welcome. The group provides an opportunity to check in with one another and discuss cancer diagnoses, treatment, post-treatment, and lifestyle concerns. The Circle of Friends Breast Cancer Support Group meets the third Wednesday of the month, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care, 361 Old Belgrade Road, Augusta. Call MaineGeneral’s Breast Care Program at (207) 621-6162 for more information.
Families Connect is a program for the whole family when a parent, grandparent, or adult relative has cancer. A family support group is held while the children and teens (ages 5-18) meet for equal parts support and fun! RSVP by NOON the Monday prior to each group!
