For those who have cancer or are cancer survivors
A journaling support group for individuals who have a current and/or past cancer diagnosis. Discover the healing power of writing to express thoughts and feelings. No prior writing experience needed; spelling & grammar do not matter. This group is offered in partnership with Cancer Support Now.
A brief educational session followed by time for sharing and support; open to patients, survivors and loved ones. This support group is offered in partnership with Cancer Support Now.
The group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Cancer Connection at The Care Communities in Suite 495.
A guided meditation, relaxation, and guided imagery group to help ease stress and improve coping. Open to patients, loved ones, and staff.

Families Connect is a program for the whole family when a parent, grandparent, or adult relative has cancer. A family support group is held while the children and teens (ages 5-18) meet for equal parts support and fun! RSVP by NOON the Monday prior to each group!
Weekly support group for people affected by cancer and their primary emotional care provider. Explore new ways of dealing with the physical and emotional effects of cancer. An interview is required before attending group.
A vital piece of the Let Every Woman Support Group Know – Alaska mission is providing support for women diagnosed with gynecologic cancer. Let Every Woman Know has launched a regular support group- free of charge, facilitated by a licensed mental health clinician and offered in a drop-in format. This support group is open to women in all stages of diagnosis and treatment and offers a forum to meet women on similar journeys. This group will be held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 12-1:30pm at the Providence Health Park Building Conference Room 2401 at 3851 Piper Street, Anchorage, AK 99508.
