Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.

All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. A vital piece of the Let Every Woman Support Group Know – Alaska mission is providing support for women diagnosed with gynecologic cancer. Let Every Woman Know has launched a regular support group- free of charge, facilitated by a licensed mental health clinician and offered in a drop-in format. This support group is open to women in all stages of diagnosis and treatment and offers a forum to meet women on similar journeys. This group will be held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 12-1:30pm at the Providence Health Park Building Conference Room 2401 at 3851 Piper Street, Anchorage, AK 99508.
This support group is open to all cancer patients and their loved ones regardless of where they are along this journey. Talk over coffee and pastries while sharing experiences and ways to cope with all aspects of cancer –from the emotional and physical, down to the practical.
LAUGH, STRETCH & DE-STRESS YOGA CLASS
Anyone, anywhere, can laugh for no reason! You don’t need jokes, comedy or even to be in the mood to laugh. Experience yoga breathing, stretching and mental relaxation with a difference. Depression will have a hard time haning around after this fun class. This class is offered the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Please note there is no cost to this class

A small group for women who have experienced any type of cancer. Female family members and supporters are welcome. The group provides an opportunity to check in with one another and discuss cancer diagnoses, treatment, post-treatment, and lifestyle concerns.
