Regardless of the prognosis, this event permanently changes our lives and leaves us vulnerable to depression and other problems that undermine our hope and complicate our medical care.
Thanks to the generous support of the Monadnock United Way, MAPS offers free support groups to individuals with cancer and to family members caring for someone with cancer. These groups meet weekly for support, education, spiritual reflection and healing. In addition, MAPS offers individual or family counseling for those who are need additional care

This face-to-face support group is for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer. The support group takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Monroe Senior Center, 12 Halsey Reed Road, Monroe Township, NJ. Pre-registration is required for this group.
