Sometimes being around others that are diagnosed with cancer and hearing their stories can be reaffirming that you are not alone in this journey.
Join us in a relaxed, casual atmosphere where conversation will flow easily in a safe,
non-judgmental environment
This is a program for any cancer patient, caregiver, or family member. Come share an educational and introspective experience with others going through similar challenges.
This group meets every Thursday from 12-1 p.m.
All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. Building a mindfulness practice has been proven to significantly reduce distress in people with cancer and their families. Join us for skill building & practice. First Tuesday of each month 12:30-1:30 pm
Families Connect is a program for the whole family when a parent, grandparent, or adult relative has cancer. A family support group is held while the children and teens (ages 5-18) meet for equal parts support and fun! RSVP by NOON the Monday prior to each group!
