Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.
All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. Meets the 1st Wednesday of every month
Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. This support group meets on the first Monday of every other month. Offered in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, this group is designed to help women manage treatment-related side effects and learn how to care for their skin. Registration is required.
