Healthy Eating During Cancer Treatment
Feel better during your treatment by learning to maintain your weight and muscle. You may also respond to treatment better, have fewer breaks in your treatment and might even keep the cancer from coming back.
Offered by the UNM Cancer Center’s Patient & Family Services.
Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.
This is a program for any cancer patient, caregiver, or family member. Come share an educational and introspective experience with others going through similar challenges.
This group meets every Thursday from 12-1 p.m.
