Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.
All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. This support group is open to all cancer patients and their loved ones regardless of where they are along this journey. Talk over coffee and pastries while sharing experiences and ways to cope with all aspects of cancer –from the emotional and physical, down to the practical.
The Cancer Support Group is a support group for individuals that have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, at any stage of treatment. Join us on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 pm

Family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend this support group. Each month will feature a different speaker followed by group discussion.
1st Monday of the month at 7:00 pm
A support group for women with breast cancer or those who have had breast cancer. Meetings take place at the Lexington Clinic Center for Breast Care on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and offer women an opportunity to discuss breast cancer experiences, learn about resources and options, and receive emotional support from others facing breast cancer.
