Women with Breast Cancer (a Columbia St. Mary’s group) meets the second and fourth Monday of every month from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Vandyke Haebler Center, 2025 E. Newport Ave., Milwaukee. Call (414) 961-4552 for more information.
This group is open to any current patient and survivor of breast cancer. Please join us for support, information, sharing and education. Guest speakers may be included. This group will will be held each month at the PinnacleHealth Cancer Center on the east shore and the Ortenzio Cancer Center on the west shore. Please contact at (717) 724-6790 with any questions. A compassionate support program for patients and families living with cancer
Receiving a diagnosis of cancer is one of our deepest fears. When this happens, the consequences often impact greatly on an individual and on families. Responsibilities shift, values and beliefs are questioned and endless decisions call for immediate action without a clear understanding of our options or our goals. Regardless of the prognosis, this event permanently changes our lives and leaves us vulnerable to depression and other problems that undermine our hope and complicate our medical care.
Thanks to the generous support of the Monadnock United Way, MAPS offers free support groups to individuals with cancer and to family members caring for someone with cancer. These groups meet weekly for support, education, spiritual reflection and healing. In addition, MAPS offers individual or family counseling for those who are need additional care
Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.
The group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Cancer Connection at The Care Communities in Suite 495.

Our Cancer Support Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pali Momi Conference Center, located on the 1st floor.
