All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. The Cancer Support Group is a support group for individuals that have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, at any stage of treatment. Join us on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 pm
Our support groups provide people with cancer and caregivers with a place to explore ways of coping with the stress of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our licensed clinicians help support group participants learn how to take an active role in their own health and well-being. Attendance at an orientation session is required prior to joining a group.

General Cancers- patients/survivors & supporters
Site-specific support groups provide the opportunity for cancer survivors to meet other survivors with a similar diagnosis. Meetings are held once monthly and last approximately one hour. All noon meetings are served lunch and take place at Cancer Services unless otherwise specified.
This program is for patients sharing their feelings and experiences while building a support community.
