The many support groups at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center offer a safe place to talk, as well as to listen and learn from one another.
Weekly support group for people affected by cancer and their primary emotional care provider. Explore new ways of dealing with the physical and emotional effects of cancer. An interview is required before attending group.
The Cancer Support Group is a support group for individuals that have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, at any stage of treatment. Join us on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 pm
The Circle of Friends Breast Cancer Support Group meets the third Wednesday of the month, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care, 361 Old Belgrade Road, Augusta. Call MaineGeneral’s Breast Care Program at (207) 621-6162 for more information.
