Caregiver Support Group – an informal meeting for caregivers who have a loved one with a cancer diagnosis. Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, 12:30 – 2:00 at the UA Cancer Center – Orange Grove Campus (1891 W. Orange Grove Rd) Conference Room. Weekly support group for people affected by cancer and their primary emotional care provider. Explore new ways of dealing with the physical and emotional effects of cancer. An interview is required before attending group.
This support group is open to all cancer patients and their loved ones regardless of where they are along this journey. Talk over coffee and pastries while sharing experiences and ways to cope with all aspects of cancer –from the emotional and physical, down to the practical.
