Family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend this support group. Each month will feature a different speaker followed by group discussion.
This course offers the basic navigation of Mosaiq Application to include the following:
- Setting up the Home screen
- Adding additional tabs
- Viewing all patient notes
- Customizing patient chart tabs
- Navigating schedules to include daily, weekly views.
- Changing the dates
- Customizing the toolbar with shortcut items.
- Clinician worksheet navigation (Provider related)
Ongoing groups for women recently diagnosed with breast cancer, those still undergoing treatment, and those who have completed treatment. Women may join at any time. REGISTRATION is required for new participants.
Moakley 3rd Floor Conference Room
A small group for women who have experienced any type of cancer. Female family members and supporters are welcome. The group provides an opportunity to check in with one another and discuss cancer diagnoses, treatment, post-treatment, and lifestyle concerns. A journaling support group for individuals who have a current and/or past cancer diagnosis. Discover the healing power of writing to express thoughts and feelings. No prior writing experience needed; spelling & grammar do not matter. This group is offered in partnership with Cancer Support Now.
Women with Breast Cancer (a Columbia St. Mary’s group) meets the second and fourth Monday of every month from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Vandyke Haebler Center, 2025 E. Newport Ave., Milwaukee. Call (414) 961-4552 for more information.
A guided meditation, relaxation, and guided imagery group to help ease stress and improve coping. Open to patients, loved ones, and staff.
This support group is open to all cancer patients and their loved ones regardless of where they are along this journey. Talk over coffee and pastries while sharing experiences and ways to cope with all aspects of cancer –from the emotional and physical, down to the practical.
Healthy Eating During Cancer Treatment
Feel better during your treatment by learning to maintain your weight and muscle. You may also respond to treatment better, have fewer breaks in your treatment and might even keep the cancer from coming back.
