This semi-monthly support group is for people living with advanced or metastatic cancer. The open discussion group is facilitated by Liz Carrino-Tamasi, MSW, and Emily Sower, NP-C. This group is open to any current patient and survivor of breast cancer. Please join us for support, information, sharing and education. Guest speakers may be included. This group will will be held each month at the PinnacleHealth Cancer Center on the east shore and the Ortenzio Cancer Center on the west shore. Please contact at (717) 724-6790 with any questions. Fear of the unknown is the greatest obstacle cancer patients face after initial diagnosis and start of treatment. Some answers can be found by meeting with other patients who have successfully conquered cancer. From sharing common problems comes common solutions.

The many support groups at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center offer a safe place to talk, as well as to listen and learn from one another.

Site-specific support groups provide the opportunity for cancer survivors to meet other survivors with a similar diagnosis. Meetings are held once monthly and last approximately one hour. All noon meetings are served lunch and take place at Cancer Services unless otherwise specified.
